Tactile Hazard Warning Labels
These tactile warning labels are suitable for use on dangerous substances to provide warnings to blind or visually impaired consumers. The clear labels have a raised equilateral triangle, which can be located by touch. These are manufactured to BS EN 11683:1997.
The labels can be applied either automatically or by hand over existing labels, and can be used to identify a series of hazardous conditions including toxic, very toxic, corrosive, harmful, irritant, or flammable. Use of these labels can enhance safe handling and use of chemical containers and aerosols products, and complies with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
