BBC Headquarters

If you've been near the internet this weekend, you may have witnessed Gemma Collins solidify her status as the queen of memes by falling through a trapped door hole. Even though Gemma stated she was fine right after, dubbing herself an Essex 'Bridget Jones', it is rumored she may be looking to sue the BBC.

Here's that fall one more time for those of you who may have missed it.

Speaking on ITV's this morning, Gemma stated that she was not allowed to speculate on whether the hole was clearly marked or if she had been contacted by the BBC about the incident. Gemma has taken the fall in good spirits but speculated that there's a chance it may have been fatal. She is currently suffering from bruising and shock, but believes things could've taken a darker turn.

The Radio 1 press office has issued a statement which claims it takes health and safety very seriously and are awaiting a full report from the production company, Remedy, who made the show. They said that Gemma did receive a full briefing prior to going on stage.

We're sure this won't be the last we hear of this! However, Gemma has said that all will be forgiven if she's allocated a spot on next years Strictly Come Dancing.

We think the BBC could've avoided this health and safety hazard by using a few of these signs to warn poor Gemma while she was up on stage...
